Metastatic Breast Cancer Patient Perspectives Needed in Florida

Breast cancer is the second most common cancer in Florida, yet little is known about how people living with metastatic breast cancer (mBC) make treatment decisions—especially among diverse and underserved communities.

The MAPCare FL Study seeks to better understand the experiences of people with mBC, including the factors that help them make treatment decisions and the barriers they face. Insights from this study will be used to improve patient–provider communication, support strategies, and overall care experience.

Participation details:

  • Eligible participants will receive an informed consent form by email to review and sign.
  • Once consented, a researcher will contact you to schedule an interview.
  • Participants may withdraw from the study at any time.
  • Compensation will be provided for participation.
